Jan 2024friends who live in paris recommended @jamat_bistro - a real pearl in paris’s big city gastronomy. an intimate, small bistro that is unpretentious and lives from its uncomplicated atmosphere and hospitality. the food: classic french bistro cuisine with exciting, creative interpretations with seasonal products, simply heart-warming and inspiring. the wines: we had the ensemble from @cotes_rousses an exciting natural wine from savoie from the altesse grape variety, aged in wooden barrels and sandstone amphoras, with a beautiful spiciness that harmonised wonderfully with the hearty food. it was a successful evening in a special place, where the passion of the owner couple for a great and uncomplicated gastronomic experience could be felt in every second of the evening. i look forward to coming back again

Aug 2023Moment très frustrant chez Jamat. Tout était très bon au niveau des plats, bravo au chef. Par contre, service looooooong et une serveuse (ou peut-être gérante mais si c'est le cas, ça la fout mal) complètement à la rue, même à se demander si c'était fait exprès. Les potes et la famille passent avant vous et on droit à l'ouverture de quilles, alors que le commun des mortels qui fait l'horrible choix de ne pas prendre de bouteilles doit se satisfaire de 2 choix de blancs ou d'un pinot noir fruité. On aurait adoré prendre un dessert mais on a eu l'impression qu'elle préférait nous voir partir plutôt que de commander autre chose. Peut-être nous a-t-elle fait payer les 5 minutes de retard, désolé d'avoir prévenu.
