Since 1999, we have been crafting exceptional wines in a veritable cathedral built from stone from the Pont du Gard, adhering to the architectural principles of the great builders. We believe that wine is a living product that follows natural cycles and influences. We built this cellar in keeping with our vineyard philosophy, ensuring optimal conditions for the wine. The shapes, volumes, thirteen columns, and central core play a crucial role in the exchange of energy and vibrations, aiming to enhance the wines during successive stages of aging and storage. Constructed according to the golden ratio (a principle of architecture used by the builders of Great Egypt), the cellar is composed of stone blocks weighing between 3 and 6 tons each. THE VINEYARD: The starting point was the realization of the exceptional quality of their terroir. The unique characteristics of the soils and the vineyard's ideal geographical exposure (facing due south, at an altitude of between 250 and 300 meters) allow for a harvest richer in the compounds necessary for crafting great wines: soil rich in clay, limestone, pebbles, and often deep. All the most famous Côtes du Rhône grape varieties are represented, each contributing its own identity and complexity to the wines. The red grape varieties include Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and old Carignan vines. The white grape varieties include Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, Clairette, and Bourboulenc. This great diversity of grape varieties (25 in total), resulting from massal selection, has an average vine age of 40 years, with some vines over a century old, which suggests the exceptional quality of the wines.
