How Does it Work?

Inform enthusiasts and professionals about your latest cuvées, novelties, trade shows where you'll be present, and your distribution network. They will be grateful.

Step 1

After registration, we will contact you to verify your eligibility based on the natural cider manifesto, specifying the different validation steps. Enjoy the free 14-day trial and zero charges before account setup.

Step 2

Upload Your Visuals and Information

Log into the Raisin website to upload basic information about your orchard and cidery, your location, and your work philosophy.

Step 3

Create the Complete List of Your Ciders

On your profile page, you can add new sheets for each of your ciders. Fill out the form with information such as name, varieties, vintage, labels, tasting notes, and production methods.

Step 4

Publish and Update

If all information is updated, publish it so it's visible to our users. You can update your ciders at any time, for example by adding information about new cuvées, special editions, etc.

Based on the natural cider manifesto from the Cider Brigades, we can evaluate each producer’s relevance.

10 traits of a good natural cider maker candidate on Raisin:

Manually harvested ripe fruits
No inputs, from tree to bottle
'Pure juice' ciders, made 100% from fresh apple and/or pear must
For living ciders
No SO2 (sulfite) addition, neither during fermentation nor at bottling
No pasteurization
Slow fermentation using only terroir yeasts indigenous on fruit skin
Use of simple racking
Light filtering allowed
Foam formation following the ancestral method, i.e., by continuing fermentation in bottle. On indigenous yeast

Climate challenges beyond producers’ control:

Climate changes add enormous difficulties to creating natural ciders. If undesirable effects force the cider maker to use techniques foreign to this manifesto, they must indicate on the back label what actions were taken to market merchantable juices, in complete transparency.
