MOLT BO Winemaker: Jugo Vins - Charlie Prymaka Region: Spain/Mallorca Variety: 100% Montenegro Vintage: 2022 Style: Dry red wine 12 days on skins with daily gentle punch down. Raised in inox and 500L old puncheon. No fining and no filtering. Light and juicy with a feel good kind of energy and just like the island itself. Pure sunshine in a glass. This wine comes from a vineyard in the East of Mallorca. The Mantonegro comes from a very young vineyard up the road from the winery. The local varieties in Mallorca have very thin skins and so even though the winemaker macerate this wine for the entirety of the fermentation - the wine comes out light. Charlie wanted to make a simple red wine that respects this variety found in Mallorca and that if his Dad were to drink it he would say: “ah yeah that’s good that.”. The name “Molt Bo” is mallorquin for “very good”. To all vegetable focused summer dishes and BBQ!
