NATURAL KAMPTAL 2026: A Celebration of Low-Intervention Viticulture

Natural Wine Days in Kamptal – center of Lower Austria's natural wine scene – a place for exchange, encounter, and enjoyment.

From November 6 to 9, 2026, the village of Strass im Strassertale becomes the meeting point for eight regions to celebrate natural wine. In cooperation with Weinkontraste Strass, Mo's im Kaiser's Hof, and Esslokal, the event offers a deep dive into the visions of 35 winemakers from Lower Austria.

Event Schedule

November 6: FINE DINING & WINEPAIRING – "Kamptal meets Donaustrom" featuring an exclusive menu at Kaiser's Hof paired with low-intervention highlights.
November 7: LOW INTERVENTION WINE TASTING – The main event spread across Weinkontraste and Kaiser’s Hof, just a five-minute walk apart.
November 8: „DER MORGIGE“ – Kamptal as a guest in Wachau for a "Heuriger 2.0" experience at Nikolaihof in Mautern.
November 9: PRO-DAY – An exclusive day for gastronomy professionals and sommeliers to experience the culinary kraftzentrum of the Waldviertel.
