Libertango is a bright and expressive white wine that celebrates the freedom of natural winemaking. Grown in the rugged Alt-Empordà region of Catalonia, this field blend of Chenin Blanc, Macabeo, Parellada, and White Grenache offers a lively interplay of citrusy freshness and gentle floral notes. Hand-destemmed grapes see a short maceration, bringing out extra aromatic depth before fermenting in traditional amphora. Six months of aging in oak barrels lend a subtle roundness to its spirited acidity. Created by Vinyes Tortuga, who live among their vines and farm holistically, Libertango captures both a sense of place and an adventurous spirit in every sip.
Caviste
Tinaha Rosado is a dry rosé made from Monastrell grown on old, unirrigated bush vines on the north side of Sierra de la Pila in Murcia. The grapes are picked in two stages: an earlier harvest brings freshness, while a later one adds more rounded fruit and texture. The wine is fermented and aged for five months in handmade clay amphorae from Moreno León, on fine lees, with no oak and no heavy filtration. This gives it a pure, natural style and may leave a gentle texture in the glass. Expect aromas of red fruit, flowers and light balsamic notes, with a mineral touch in the background. On the palate it is fresh, dry and easy to enjoy, but with enough character to work well at the table. Serve it with Mediterranean rice dishes, grilled fish, seafood or mild cheeses.
