Dark deep ruby colour. Violets, blackberry, plum, ripe cherry and a herbal note on the nose. Full bodied with nice acidity and velvety tannins. Complex and mouth filling wine with a long finish. Try it with roasted beef, rabbit stew, veal, lamb chops. Made from Prokupac grape that is believed to be one of the oldest grape varieties to be found in Serbia dating back to the Middle Ages. Harvest by hand, fermentation by native yeasts, aging in Burgundy barrique, no filtration, no oenological products added, doses of sulfite less than 25 mg/liter. The name of the wine refers to a Serbian tradition. Slava (Serbian: Слава, meaning 'Glory, Celebration') is a tradition of the ritual of glorification of one's family's patron saint. Light orange golden yellow color. Aromatic and youthful, gourmand and elegant. Dried apricot, pine resin, orange blossom aromatics. Dry, medium-bodied with a pleasant tannic touch and pleasant refreshing acidity. Pair it with Indian, Moroccan, Thai and Indonesian cuisine, Korean and Japanese dishes, raw oyster, charcuterie, gnocchi, pasta...
