Mai 2024I can only second all the positive reviews here. The world needs more places like this one! A great selection of products, not only wines but also great fresh produce, snacks and typical Sicilian products from excellent producers, topped with great advice - perfectly knowledgeable and super friendly. You can feel that it is real passion and professionalism driving them and not just the hype (as it is sometimes the case with natural wine shops / bars…) Definitely agree with MartinOF’s comment that it is worth a detour!
Mai 2024They sell their quite wonderful own natural wine in this lovely shop, but also have a fantastic selection from the rest of Sicily. Also natural wine from France and craft beers from e.g Belgium. Very kind and informative service! In addition, excellent foodstuffs. A rarity: their natural wine in a box, which is both economical and ecological (lower price, lower CO2). If I was the Guide Michelin, I'd say: this place is worth driving a major detour.
Mai 2024A must visit for all natural wine and food lovers. Enrice, Anna and Irene did a perfect job in recommendations of wines and their products. Fabulous wines and products self made from the family winery/business. We had a wonderful and informative visit. Their knowledge of the sicilien natural wine scene is incredibly good.
Mar 2024Criante is a fabulous natural wine maker as well as a unique bottega stocking some of the best local products, an incredible range of organic veggies and fruits from their own fields and many many others. In addition criante is a Enoteca which stocks up the best Sicilian natural wines and not only. By far the most provisioned in North western Sicily.
