Café Paulette and its charming wine bar counterpart, Petit Paulette, stand as beacons of French culinary and oenophilic delight in the heart of New York. Café Paulette was established in 2013 by Lionel, the founder and owner, the café has become a beloved fixture in the neighborhood, offering a classic French bistro experience with a unique twist – a dedication to 100% natural wine.
In 2016, Petit Paulette joined the family, a cozy wine bar curated by Chas, the wine director. Together with Angelique, the general manager, and Jonathan, the chef, they form a dynamic team passionate about delivering an authentic and honest experience to their patrons.

Lionel's journey with natural wine began in Paris in 2002, where he opened a restaurant around the corner from "Le verre volé". From the streets of Paris to Brooklyn, Café Paulette and Petit Paulette have become not just a trend but a favourite for discerning connoisseurs.
What also sets Café Paulette apart is its unique location – the only restaurant in Brooklyn boasting an expansive outdoor space reminiscent of Parisian charm, situated across from a park. Open for a decade, Paulette remains a neighborhood staple, offering generous portions, affordability, and a positive, kind ambiance. Steeped in history, the space was once Spike's joint (film director Spike's Lee spot in the 90's), adding another layer to the rich tapestry of this culinary haven. Whether enjoying a leisurely meal at Café Paulette or savoring small bites at Petit Paulette, patrons are transported to a world where French tradition meets the vibrant spirit of New York.
