Libertango is a bright and expressive white wine that celebrates the freedom of natural winemaking. Grown in the rugged Alt-Empordà region of Catalonia, this field blend of Chenin Blanc, Macabeo, Parellada, and White Grenache offers a lively interplay of citrusy freshness and gentle floral notes. Hand-destemmed grapes see a short maceration, bringing out extra aromatic depth before fermenting in traditional amphora. Six months of aging in oak barrels lend a subtle roundness to its spirited acidity. Created by Vinyes Tortuga, who live among their vines and farm holistically, Libertango captures both a sense of place and an adventurous spirit in every sip.
Els Bassots is a captivating skin-contact Chenin Blanc from Conca de Barberà. Made biodynamically at around 450 metres of altitude, the grapes benefit from a dry climate moderated by cool sea winds. They are harvested by hand and macerated on their skins for roughly ten days before fermenting with native yeasts in stainless steel. Afterward, the wine rests for about one year in neutral French oak barrels, without filtering or fining, and without added sulphites. This approach gives the wine a light golden hue, creamy texture, and bright citrus hints. Its lively acidity and subtle mineral notes linger on the palate, reflecting both the region’s clay-limestone soils and the winemaker’s gentle touch. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, Els Bassots offers a distinctive Spanish take on a traditionally French grape, showing that Chenin Blanc can flourish beautifully under the Catalan sun.

Saint Laurent Carafa is a dry, light red made from the Saint Laurent grape (Svatovavřinecké) from the Stará vinice vineyard in Těšetice, in the Znojmo sub-region of Moravia. The vines are farmed organically and the wine is made in a very natural way, with minimal intervention. Whole bunches are left to slowly ferment for about 10 days in wooden vats (a gentle semi-carbonic maceration), which brings out juicy fruit and soft tannins rather than heavy extraction. After pressing, the wine matures in a mix of French oak barrels and Moravian clay amphorae, adding subtle spice, roundness and a touch of earthiness. It is bottled without fining, filtration or added sulfur, so you get a very pure taste of grape and place. Saint Laurent Carafa shows best after a bit of air, so decanting is recommended. A great choice if you enjoy fresh, characterful natural reds.
