The fourth year of PURA SEDE, Portugal's first dedicated natural wine fair, represents a natural wine fair coming of age. Led by the star-studded list of wine growers, a vibrant community of buyers, restaurateurs, and taste enthusiasts will make their way to Lisbon. Founded by Clara Higham-Stoianova and Florian Tonello in 2020, PURA SEDE has become a reputable event in a relatively short time for showcasing Europe's most revered cult natural wine producers and some of the rising talents in the scene.

For its fourth edition, iconic producers such as Patrick Bouju, La petite Baigneuse, Partida Creus, Cantina Furlani, and La Perdida will gather at Pura Sede’s new location in the heart of Lisbon, Carpintarias de São Lázaro, for this edition we will focus more on the Portuguese wine scene. Overlooking the sea, the winemakers will be pouring their wines and exchanging their philosophies with international guests, professionals, and fellow winemakers. In Portuguese, PURA SEDE means pure thirst, and by founders Clara and Florian’s understanding, a thirst for purity. To the organizers, natural wine is simply wine with a minimal intervention approach and a deep respect for nature and fermentation. The fair combines tasting incredible wines with a number of satellite events from local restaurants and put simply, a great party.

For this edition we will have a dinner after the fair on Saturday evening open to the public with a course menu served with wines and accompanied by a dj set.

Professional event organizers, and community builders Clara Higham-Stoianova (Sips Berlin), and Florian Tonello (Ladidadi Wines Lisbon) have no shortage of experience in bringing together a special crowd of people. Over the last 10 years, the two friends have hosted a number of gatherings including the block party Grill Grill and Wine Rush in Berlin. The first edition of PURA SEDE, which launched in March 2020, welcomed more than 60 winemakers and 500 attendees.

As more restaurants, bars, and distributors cater to the natural wine community in Lisbon, Pura Sede is able to bring new wines and fresh faces to this dynamic discussion. 2023 will this exchange even further, uniting pioneering natural wine producers with a European collective in Portugal’s stunning capital.

With a limited capacity of attendees and each previous year has been a sold-out event, it is advised to book tickets ahead of time.
