7.7 / zero / $35 / label design and concept is cute. All the Gut Oggau wines are named after family members. Label also says its not a pet nat, but that's kind of a cop out... it clearly is, but was bottled a little too late, so the bubbles aren't quite there. That's ok though. Kombucha, hefeweizen. Likely will appeal more to adventurous beer drinkers than regular wine drinkers. I like it, but it's hard to justify the price. You can get similar and better wines for a lot less. But the label design is really nice. And I keep talking about it, so that means something....

Wow! Deep yellow amber color. In the beginning, apples are dominating in the nose, almost like an apple cider. Then it opens up more. I get some oxidative notes, apples, honey, melon, and a lot of minerals. It’s really smooth to drink with quite easy acidity, lots of minerals and quite some pleasant bitterness. Acidity gets more powerful once opened. Just delicious! Perfectly balanced!
