Grolleau, Cabernet Franc - Vallée de la Loire - Vin de France
Fruity and festive! Berry-y but not too sweet, perfect for a casual celebration 🍓
8.3 / $25 / zero / wine mc2 selection / well, it's definitely interesting. It's got a def candy flavor. Like a sugary breakfast cereal. I wanna say fruity pebbles, but it's a different cereal. Just can't place it right now. Isn't it funny how the most natural wines sometimes evoke the most unnatural flavor and smell memories, but they harken back to childhood memories of happiness. Like fruity pebbles. But it's something else. Not fruity pebbles. Definitely floral like you would expect from a cab franc. Residual sugar is definitely there, so a little sweeter than i normally prefer, but i can get over it. Ok, so maybe pez without the chalkiness? I can't quite get there. It's at least a wine that makes me blather on... and on. Geographic cumps of yeast at the bottom that floated off the tectonic plate that is the bottle upon opening.
Wanna know what this is like? Here it goes... it’s like if sherbet were wine. That’s all I’m gonna say. I love it. Would drink a million more times! Love love love 💕
À propos
Un pét’ nat’ sur le fruit, sans sulfites ajoutés et très légèrement acidulé. Croquant, gourmand, une véritable friandise.
