Tutto frutto e scorrevolezza, non un campione di complessità ma infinitamente gourmand
sherry barrels on the nose, dry, subtle, balanced, tart and extremely drinkable even at 10PM in the middle of a work week!
Yet another incredible release from Charles. The wine is so haunting, it balances savoury oxidation and ripeness with tight focused minerality. I think this wine does best with plenty of oxygen, maybe even a decant despite the bubbles. Truly inspired champagne.
