After starting to work in the family business (vines with his father and vines with his mother) in 2006, Charles began a radical conversion of the vineyard into organic, the final process taking effect from the 2010 harvest. All the grapes from Charles Dufour's production are therefore certified. Being certified organic is particularly difficult for Champagne due to the climatic conditions of rain and cold. And yet ... To date, Charles Dufour lives and works in Landreville on a family vineyard of 6 ha. He presses what he cultivates, he vinifies what he presses and markets what he vinifies. In addition, he helps his mother (Françoise Marinot) who also brings him organic grapes (pinot noir) which he vinifies, raises and brings his personal touch. It is the Bistrøtage range that it markets.
