Philipp von Lintel and Daniel Fels founded Off Grid, in Stuttgart, at the end of 2018 as a modest side project alongside their full-time design careers. What started as a passion has grown into a thriving business, making Off Grid a key player in the German natural wine scene. Today, Off Grid serves not only as an importer and dealer but also as a vibrant local hub for natural wine enthusiasts.
The Off Grid team is as diverse as their wine selection. Founders Philipp and Daniel were joined in 2022 by Christoph Geyler, a former sommelier and founding member of Berlin's renowned Restaurant Ernst. In 2023, Denisa, a graphic designer with a love for natural wine, joined the team. Lydia Knoop, with a background in wine and agriculture, contributes her expertise in crafting compelling texts. Dietmar, a passionate wine lover and friend, offers invaluable assistance while dedicated student jobbers manage logistics and storage.
Off Grid prioritizes personal relationships with winemakers, aiming to represent their visions faithfully. This commitment to organic growth is evident in their business practices and their support of sustainable viticulture.
While Stuttgart's natural wine scene is still emerging, Off Grid is leading the way, building a community of enthusiasts and gradually transforming the city's wine culture.
