Vincent Larcelet, a dedicated winemaker in Alsace, realized his dream in 2020 by cultivating a hectare of vineyards with passion and commitment. His natural winemaking approach, earning his wines the "Nature & Progress" status, for being free from additives and interventions.
However, due to an unfortunate accident and health issues, Vincent now requires assistance with specific tasks in the vineyard to ease the physical strain. Tasks include vine treatment and mowing (done once a year, every other row), which is crucial because the vineyard doesn’t use copper or sulfur, relying on herbal teas, essential oils, and purins.
Vincent currently tackles these tasks with a small backpack sprayer (20kg), row by row, multiple times a week depending on weather conditions. The labor is intense, and Vincent is feeling the strain.
To alleviate this burden, Vincent is fundraising for a much-needed vineyard tractor, essential for maintaining the beauty of his vineyards. The goal is €10,000, covering a portion of the €14,500 cost.
Your contribution not only lightens Vincent's physical load but also enhances the sustainability of his operation. Let's join forces to support Vincent's vineyards – contribute through the link:
