We believe that it is important to jointly, collaborate and connect with new friends of all genres in the world who are not directly related to wine but who agree with our ideas, not to mention the people we meet through wine. I am confident that we can strongly express the power of wine. We cannot complete the process of making such wine. I believe that imperfect 98 can be 100 or 200 by meeting people from all over the world who resonate with each other. An encounter where puzzle pieces fit perfectly. 98wines is a place that can be a piece of a puzzle for various people, like when we fell in love with the sight of Enzanfukuori at first sight. WINERY Iron ridge x Stone ridge x Wooden ridge The 98wines winery consists of an "iron ridge" for brewing, a "stone ridge" for storage, and a "wood ridge" for friends to interact with. Iron Ridge The Iron Ridge brews gravity so as not to stress the grapes and juice. Iron ridge Stone ridge The stone ridge has been reconstructed from the stone wall of Enzanfukuori for the purpose of preserving the storage environment suitable for storage and the landscape of the area. Stone ridge Building of wood building of wood, such as sales and tasting of wine, is a space for the exchange of people who were gathered from inside and outside of the region. The 1st floor is a place to enjoy wine. Wine is fun, happy, delicious but swells with food. Even if it's not an elaborate dish, there is always a dish near the wine. I made it around the kitchen because I wanted to cherish such a landscape. On the 2nd floor, you can forget the time and enjoy wine slowly. It's a place where you can sometimes meet unexpectedly and find yourself in a workshop. BASE "Fukuori", the land we chose to start making happy wine We decided to start the winery in a different location before planning the winery in Fukuori. When the design had already begun, I arrived at this place to be drawn to something. Enzanfukuori is not a place to pass by to go somewhere, but a place that cannot be reached without a purpose. When I happened to pass by such a place, I suddenly saw Mt. Fuji. When I got out of the car and was fascinated by Mt. Fuji for a while, I noticed that there was a tattered wooden building. It was a public hall in Fukuori, which is no longer in use. The place where everyone in the area once gathered, and the beauty of Mt. Fuji that I have never seen before. I would be happy if wine could be made in such a place. That strong feeling took shape one by one, and 98wines started from this place.
