Nero d’ avola proveniente da una vigna situata in Contrada Selvaggi, a Marsala, a 140 m slm coltivata a controspalliera. La vendemmia manuale viene fatta nella terza decade di agosto; vinificato in acciaio con macerazione carbonica a grappolo intero per circa 10 giorni. Le fermentazioni sono spontanee con lieviti indigeni; affina in acciaio per 9 mesi e 3 in bottiglia.
