Barbera d’Alba Superiore 2023 di Borgogno Rivata è un rosso piemontese da Barbera 100%, espressione delle colline delle Langhe e del Roero dove la cantina coltiva i propri vigneti tra La Morra e Guarene. L’etichetta riporta la denominazione Barbera d’Alba DOC Superiore e una gradazione di 13,5% vol. La vinificazione segue un’impostazione tradizionale e l’affinamento in legno contribuisce ad ampliare il profilo aromatico, segnato da ciliegia, mora e prugna, con sfumature speziate e balsamiche. Al palato è secca, succosa e strutturata, con la vivace freschezza tipica della Barbera a dare ritmo al sorso. Il passaggio in legno accompagna il frutto senza cancellarne l’energia, lasciando un finale persistente e speziato. È un rosso adatto a tajarin al ragù, risotti ai funghi, arrosti, brasati, carni alla griglia e formaggi stagionati.
