Vanessa Letort - Du Vin Aux Liens
Vanessa Letort discovered the world of wine in 2014.
At that time, she was living in Tours and working as a community project facilitator in the Rochepinard district. A life opportunity led her to change course, and she decided to make it her profession.
She began by taking wine tasting workshops at
Cav'par 3 in Tours. Very quickly, her enjoyment of tasting became a desire to learn and understand. She then completed a year of training at the Amboise wine school, specializing in marketing.
Encounters play a central role in his journey.
Philippe Chigard , winemaker at La Table Rouge and trainer, passed on to him the taste for entrepreneurship and introduced him to many winemakers of the Loire.
In 2015,
Christian Binner hosted her as a WWOOFer on his estate in
Ammerschwihr . This encounter led to a formative adventure:
Les Vins Pirouettes , developed alongside Pierre Sanchez and Xavier Couturier (Duo Œnologie). Vanessa participated in the venture until December 2019.
These years constitute a field training, based on experience, exchanges and direct work with winegrowers.
Following this rich experience, a new stage is taking shape for Vanessa: she creates
Du Vin aux Liens .
From Wine to Connections
Du Vin aux Liens connects
Alsace and the
Loire Valley through a
natural wine trade, with the mission of forging authentic links between committed winemakers and those discovering their wines. The project is based on a network of small-scale winemakers, artisans, and dedicated individuals who work with high standards and integrity. Du Vin aux Liens is designed as an open space:
- to offer amateurs and professionals a consistent selection of natural wines
- to allow Vanessa to develop her own productions
Winemaking
Since 2019, Vanessa has been creating her own blends. She also produces ciders from apples grown in her family's Breton orchard, thus extending her agricultural heritage. This cider project was developed at the instigation of Farid, her partner.
