Elegant, fresh and fruity carignan. Beautiful clear dark red with purple hue. Very berry nose with raspberries, mulberries, sour cherries all in a merry dance. Rather sweet, but refreshingly vibrant mouth feel. Very light tannins, mouth watering acidity. Wonderful discovery, would be very happy to keep drinking this all night!

Un Sumoll 2011 en pleine forme !!! Juteux, floral et sauvage comme il faut 👌
Issu de vieilles vignes de Sumoll de 1939 cultivée en biodynamie, Perill (le danger...) fait référence au risque que prend le vigneron à vinifier naturellement... On ne peut rester insensible à la beauté intrinsèque de la bouteille, étiquette à l'illustration magnifique du "Perill" et goulot cacheté à la cire rouge. Au nez petits fruits rouges confits, myrtille, légère aigreur, herbe fraîche. Encore bien perlant (donc à carafer au moins 1 heure) tanins légers mais bien présents, sur petits fruits rouges toujours, fraise des bois compotée, groseille, hibiscus, cerise griotte, qui tourne au kirsch voire eau de vie de prune typiques du vin nat en macération et fermentation longues, finale toute en fraîcheur avec une pointe herbacée qui finit en sous-bois. Caractère sauvage et légère acidité bien maîtrisés. Plutôt addictif, ça coule tout seul sur des tapas à l'apéro, ou le lendemain (plus ouvert) sur un poulet rôti. Étonnant d'avoir ce jus encore frais et fruité sur une récolte de 2011! ...et les 30 mois de fût restent très discrets au palais, point d'exubérance ici. Curieux de lui laisser encore quelques années de cave, avec des tanins un peu plus fondus...
