The Domaine des Rouges queues is located in in Burgundy, in the small village of Sampigny les Maranges. Maranges is one of the youngest appellations in Burgundy, it was born by decree on May 23, 1989, it brings together the three communes of Cheilly les Maranges, Sampigny les Maranges and Dezize les Maranges. In the heart of the southernmost of the Côte de Beaune appellations, in the hills with the gentle, colorful slopes of the Maranges, the estate was founded in 1998.
At this time it is composed of: of a single hectare of red Maranges. À Today, on an area of 5 hectares 46 we cultivate 10 different appellations. Our desire is to let the Maranges terroir express itself through our wines. For this, we practice organic and biodynamic cultivation.
A gentle vinification that respects the work done in the vines. The majority of our vines are cut into cords. The vines are plowed in spring, then dug underfoot during summer work. The first two vintages as well as the white maranges are worked on horseback.
