I am first of all a farmer and my role is to produce the healthiest possible and to give the maximum pleasure in the bottle. I don't like the term organic. I try to recreate a more or less free and wild life in the vines, and quickly reintroduce the breeding in addition. With wine it's the same, I prefer to have a beautiful plot in the village than to vinify a soulless vintage. I am quite lonely and work as I feel and observing, each vintage is a new adventure and experience. One last thing .... Being the son of a winegrower in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, many think that I work the same way and well not at all, I make Beaujolais and not Burgundy. The vines are worked without pesticides (or copper for 3 years) and in permaculture. The wines are without added sulphites and without filtration.
