What a niece, what an uncle! United at our late summer table in Vienna. Wonderful finish of a spontaneous pas de deux tasting at o boufes/Vienna.
Great fermented smell on the nose. Citrus zest on the front end smooth finish with hints of honey and a slight oak note.
Une grosse dinguerie, un voyage vers la pêche mûre, un nez rond de verger. En bouche(s), trois élans de fruits différents, du plus frais au plus mur. De l'ouverture au dernier verre, un large spectre gustatif nous emporte, mis en exergue par des alliances salées ou sucrées.
Superbe vin blanc sicilien. Un beau volume en bouche. Une palette aromatique complexe et complète ! Une aération lui est bénéfique mais le vin se livre, dans l'ensemble, rapidement. Une belle cuisine orientale ou asiatique lui ira à ravir. Une bouteille à retenir.
Un nez typé muscat mais en délicatesse et sans exubérance. Une bouche qui confirme la première impression avec le fruité du muscat bien marqué mais une fraîcheur et une élégance impressionnantes surtout pour un vin du sud. Un vrai bijou. Remarquable de finesse. Dangereux, la bouteille se vide toute seule.
Orange-tinged, floral, minty, grapefruit, candied mandarin. Fresh, full-bodied, dry, spicy fresh citrus, tropical fruits, blossoms, honeycomb.
Excellent et à boire à peine frais comme le conseil la vigneronne, c’est encore meilleur !

Beautiful wine with very attractive golden yellow color. Aromatic wine with slightly but well presented typical natural oxidation flavours (some of my friends didn’t like it because of that) but I really love it, the ripe fruits and the minerals in this wine are being carried by a supple full body. Drunk this on 20th July 2018 at restaurante Barrique in Rome and 22th July at home in Amsterdam.

Well done Arianna!!!! The smell it’s typically of the zibibbo but it’s also super balanced with a sour salty taste!!! She’s getting better year by year!!! Nice aperitivo
He cooked from the cook book of Yotam Ottolenghi. We were happy with how floral and up tasting this wine was. My cold-sores were almost healed so we’d be kissing again soon
Une plantation de 8 ha composés de Nero d’Avola, de Frappato et de deux cépages blancs l’Albanello et le Zibibbo (Muscat d’Alexandrie). A la vigne : Le terroir et les sols : Sols sableux. Sous-sols calcaires. Terroir d’Iblei. Philosophie : Culture biologique. En cave : Vinification et élevage : Fermentations en levures indigènes. Macération pelliculaire pendant 15 jours. Elevage pendant 6 mois en cuves béton puis 1 mois en bouteille. Vin non filtré. Dans le verre : SP68 est le nom de la route qui longe la parcelle des vignes d’Albanello et de Zibibbo (Muscat d’Alexandrie) qui compose ce blanc invitant au voyage. Une sève de fruits jaunes embaume le palais avec éclat dans une fraîcheur et un équilibre exaltant. Arianna Occhipinti nous démontre dans cette cuvée l’étendue de son talent par ce vin chargé d’histoire, identitaire de son île. Conseils de dégustation : Cette cuvée SP68 peut être bu dès à présent à condition de l’ouvrir à l’avance pendant 2 heures minimum ou de le mettre en carafe. Cette cuvée pourra se garder en cave sereinement pendant 6 à 8 ans. L’accord gourmand conseillé : Cette cuvée SP68 se dégustera magnifiquement à l’apéritif, accompagné de poissons, de crustacés ou de fromages italiens.
Le SP68 blanc (50% Zibibbo, 50% Albanello) tient son nom de la route provinciale qui longe les vignes, en Sicile. Occhipinti SP68 White 2020 Moscato di Alessandria (60%) & Albanello (40%) The wine is made in Siciliy. The soil is medium density, red sands and chalk from sub apennine limestone rocks. Organic farming without chemicals at all. Indigenous yeast and 15 days in skins maceration. No filtering, no fining. Yellow gold color, quince and apricot nose, with some with flowers. The attack is gentle, smooth. Not big acidity, but it's here. The palate has clean apricot flavor, apricot kernel, some quince too. Herbs (very fine), and a delicate honey touch. Just enough bitterness at the end to bring some freshness on your month. Delicious, easy drinking.
New vintage of one of my faves. More fruity and less floral than 2019. Still delicious honey etc
