➡️ More wines on my Instagram: @marcel.de.cocq ▫️ Blanc 2015 (𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮) 🍇 Mauzac 🇫🇷 ▫️ This is a La Sorga highlight. I did not fully realize this was an orange wine when I bought it. Nice surprise, it is a pretty raw, cool and cloudy wine ! ▫️ I like the fact that it is also made from Mauzac grapes, just like Es d'Aqui's "Orange Mauzanic", which is another French Orange favorite of mine out of the same region. Comparing the two, this La Sorga Blanc could for me be the little brother of Es d'Aqui's Orange Mauzanic 2016. They go very well together, like playful cousins from a happy family. ▫️ Directly and forward: Yeasty funk, with character! Dry French Apple Cider from Normandy and at the same time it reminds me of Cantillon Gueuze beers. This with fruity Green Apples, and when it opens up some Elderflower and remotely some tropical hints of unripe-Mango/Pineapple and Nectarine come to mind. Over time it deepens a bit in earthiness and maybe starts leaning a bit towards vegetality. ▫️ It is juicy and lively with a nice stoney earthiness, good bitters and fresh citric sours give it just the right acidity for this type of wine for me. ▫️ Tech facts: Spontaneous fermentation and maceration for 2 months, then aged for 10 months in vats. No SO2 Added. ▫️ Sweetness: dry. Acidity: medium. Tannin: medium-. Body: medium. Finish: medium. ▫️ Rating: 😣 [* * * * * * * ⭐ * *] 😁

C'est magnifiquement travaillé et le temps l'ameliore de plus en plus C'est un blanc tannique et soyeux en bouche, une superbe réussite d' @anto09 comme toujours

Le vin se présente bien, et en forme. Le nez est sur le fruit confit, un léger côté doucereux, une belle ampleur. La bouche présente les mêmes qualités, de la douceur qui est élancée par une légère oxydation, et des notes de fruits et d'agrumes confits. Très belle tenue, très convaincant.
