HAMMERLOT 2019 @sandropoletti (Verona) 100% Merlot ------------- From a wild, hidden, neglected and forgotten vineyard, my pounding desire to fantasize arises .... becoming a hobby producer. 1 quintal of grapes harvested on a September afternoon, crushed and fermented for 10 days with about 50% in whole bunch, 2/3 daily punching down, softly pressed and placed in demijohn 8 months with its fine lees. One part bottled still, (this) the other refermented with its previously frozen must. An alcoholic juice of grapes totally free of any synthetic product, neither clarification nor filtration nor added sulfur, naturally fermented ... The absence of clarity, a fairly marked volatile pounding, a violent sapidity, an abrupt ending ??? Yes and again yes .... of course yes finallyeeeeeeee ................ Zioken ......... This is my Supernova, this is my first wine, a restless, imperfect, counter-current wine, of course, but for me a target centered ..... a vibrant and passionate juicy wine full of appeal and respect for the vine and life, my terroir and who will drink it ...
