Wow this is a spectacular wine. Very rich, onctuous aromas of butterscotch, dark caramel, butter and orange peel. Very well developed, unbelievable complexity. Deep orange colour, silky tannins. Having trouble finding the right words. Overwhelmingly good wine.

Aroma: Musty hay and oxidation in the best possible sense. Dried apricot, some smoke and plastic. Savory. Appearance: where do I begin? Burnt sienna /copper. Leggy. More sediment than I’ve ever seen in a bottle before—had to strain it with a tea strainer. Taste: wormwood, sherry, cider, some honey, light tannic finish. Mouthfeel of a spirit. Very memorable.
