Très bon, fruits rouges, pour boire glouglou et encore et encore...
Brilliant, vibrant, lively and full of character. Terrific flavours of ripe red fruits- wild strawberries, red cherries, blackberries. Richer on the palate with a tertiary character of dried herbs, cumin, cardamon and rosemary. Slightly floral too with a hint of bret on the finish. Medium bodied, fresh acidity and tart tannins. What a brilliant wine, from a small producer based in the Jura, France making wine at Vin de France level with style. Available at Henrock by Simon Rogan at Linthwaite House, Windermere, Cumbria for £95. #newopening #newrestaurant
