Lerchenberg Pinot Gris (Pierre Klotz Label) - Marc Kreydenweiss (Andlau) - Antoine Kreydenweiss -2019

The Lerchenberg is located in the west of the Moenchberg, classified as a Grand Cru. Strong Pinot Gris thrive here on heavy clay soils. In the nose there is a very ripe fruit, characterised by yellow apples, hazel and mirabelle. Light caramel and honey notes further underpin the opulent character. In the background there are vegetative aromas such as meadow hay, walnut and eucalyptus. The dominant fruit continues on the palate and is additionally promoted by an almost creamy type. Powerful Pinot Gris, which should be drunk in combination with fried meat and is a good alternative to red wine for stews.
