Completely different from 2019 and 2020. Smokey sweet chewing tobacco with a baseline of orange pith. All the notes of an old fashioned cocktail. I was sceptical at first. However, as the wine warmed closer to room temperature, it was more reminiscent of previous vintages. Finishes with a memory of smoked apricot. Definitely recommend letting this warm up a bit prior to drinking. Would not serve to someone that can’t cope with a funky detour away from mainstream wine.

This wine never ceases to amaze me. Drink it at breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, midnight snack. You know fuzzy peaches? Well this wine is fuzzy melons.

This has become an all time favourite of mine. I have a case in my basement at all times. Fun, fresh, and a little funky. Nectarines and orange zest with a very subtle earthiness.

Very funky - maybe why it was in the "funky and exciting" section of the wine store I bought it at. Delicious and vibrant; bright and crisp.
