Sicilian, born in 1982, Fabio is a winemaker and oenologist, comes from a maternal family of winemakers in Marsala and has been producing Etna wines since 2016.
The house and vineyards are in Piedimonte Etneo. The vineyard area is approximately 2.5 hectares in different parcels on the north-eastern side, small mixed ancient sapling vineyards set among virgin woods and slopes with Nerello Mascalese as the main variety.
The altitude of the vineyards varies from 600 to 1000 meters above sea level.
Traditional and minimal viticulture is practiced: manual soil cultivation, an annual passage in winter with a small motor cultivator,
treatments with sulphur, rock dust and plant extracts, in the pre-flowering period and only when necessary.
The harvest takes place between the second ten days of September and the first ten days of November.
No white wines at the moment.
