Godfather

I don’t think I’ve tried a lot of Slovakian wines before, but this absolute gem got me excited to try more. Three different harvests of Pinot Gris from vineyards with volcanic soils and bedrock of tuff (compressed volcanic ash). Picked at different stages of maturity, each with different periods of skin contact. Resulting in a complex orange/ red-ish wine with lots of layers, elegant, easy drinkable but non like your straight forward glouglou… Mind blowing!
