Biotop Tour : Strasbourg and Lyon

Since 2013, Biotop has been offering an alternative to mainstream wine fairs—it’s a space where producers and professionals connect over a shared commitment to low-intervention winemaking. It's a unique wine fair that travels to several regions of France. The next two stops of the Biotop Tour are Strasbourg and Lyon!

In Strasbourg, the fair takes over the Pavillon Joséphine, right in the middle of the Parc de l’Orangerie. It’s a light-filled space surrounded by trees, making the whole event feel more like a secret gathering than a trade fair. There’s room to breathe, time to chat, birds, trees, a little lake… it’s the kind of setting that makes you want to slow down, take your time, and enjoy what’s in your glass. With over 50 winemakers and brewers sharing their passion for organic, biodynamic, and natural methods, Strasbourg is set to be a standout gathering. March 3rd, 10 AM – 6 PM.

Pavillon Joséphine

Then, on March 17th, Biotop moves to L’Embarcadère in Lyon, an equally atmospheric spot right on the banks of the Saône, with a view of Fourvière. This event is reserved exclusively for professionals, making it an ideal place to have meaningful conversations with winemakers and explore new wines for your list. The venue itself—sleek, modern, and right by the water—adds to the experience, making it feel more like a curated gathering than a traditional trade fair. The combination of Lyon’s gastronomic scene and Biotop’s thoughtful selection of winemakers makes this a must-attend event for anyone in the industry. March 16th, 10 AM – 6 PM

Embarcadère, Lyon

Both events bring together passionate winemakers and brewers working with organic, biodynamic, and natural methods. But what makes Biotop stand out isn’t just what’s in the glass—it’s the places, the people, and the atmosphere.
