This past weekend the Raisin team was delighted to have be invited by the organisers of La Dive Bouteille for its 23rd edition and Les Ju(s)vénils, for it’s 1st edition.

On paper, the fairs are quite different from each other. La Dive is the oldest and largest natural wine fair, set in the Loire, and featuring the biggest names in winemaking from around the world. On the other hand, Les Ju(s)vénils, is set in Auvergne, it’s new this year, and only focusses on young winemakers, mostly from France.

However, for the Raisin team, the similarities are what made the weekend so special. At both fairs we received a warm welcome from both winemakers and attendees, who took time to tell us stories of their travels and how Raisin had helped them find their way to the best food and drinks that cities had to offer.

We are humbled and inspired to feel so ingrained in the natural wine community. A community we love, support and respect to the utmost. Whenever an establishment owner tells us that we helped their business survive, or a winemaker explains how many visitors they had from Raisin, we are so grateful that we’ve had the chance to make a small difference to the movement we adore.

To the old and new friends we met at the fairs this year, thank you. We can’t wait to raise a glass together again soon. 🍷
