In the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, a volcanic land with hills and craters, forests and woods, about 200 meters above sea level, #alfonsosoranzo, a very nice artisan musician lent to the viticulture of #monteforche, in #zovondivo cultivates its vineyards in biodynamic style, producing this masterpiece : CASSIARA 2017 70% white muscat 24 h of skin maceration e 30% garganega 3 days #skincontact in whole cluster, aging about 1 year on the fine lees in cement tanks. Magmatic rock, limestone, marine sediment, marl, clay and trachyte (on the tops of the hills) form the subsoil of these vines over 30 years, with very low yields. Then the spontaneous fermentation, and the various non-shit, guarantee a genuine, drunk, natural, citrus (cedar, grapefruit, lime) white flowers of orange blossom and honey, where the aromaticity of the Muscat, never intrusive, fits into a peculiar spectacular picture . Fresh aromatic herbs and a decidedly mineral taste lead to a spicy, balsamic, very long, bewitching and fascinating finish.
