Café Carlos & Diego’s - Natural Wine for the community, not the profit!
Café Carlos & Diego’s, which opened its doors on October 7th, 2023, has quickly become a beloved spot in Odense, Denmark, thanks to its unique mission and community-focused approach. Founded by Dennis, and named after his children, Loui Carlos and Charley Diego, the café is run by a dedicated team of around 20 volunteers.
Unlike most businesses though (and thanks to its volunteers), Café Carlos & Diego’s isn't about making money. Instead, it's about creating a positive impact in the local community. The café hosts a variety of social events, including Christmas evenings for those feeling lonely, poetry readings, knitting cafés, wine tastings, and men’s groups.
The emphasis is on natural and bio wines, primarily from Spain, France, and Austria, paired with Spanish and French cuisine. They even play Boyband music from 9-10pm (which they promise is good!).
Open only on Friday and Saturday evenings, the café is a place for good times, positive vibes, and affordable prices accessible for everyone, make sure you visit and support it if you are in or near Odense. Be sure to reserve though as it fills up fast!
