Parcelle168 is a Swiss artisanal winery. Located in the heart of La Côte, in the beautiful hamlet of Bugnaux. Every day, we are lucky enough to enjoy magnificent views of the lake and Mont Blanc.
Our cellar is incredibly small. Only a few vats and a handful of barrels. What drives us is the passion to create new wines, each year we carefully harvest the fruits of different plots and our wines are produced in micro-cuvées of around 500 bottles. Each wine comes from plots worked according to organic cultivation methods and the principles of Biodynamics. Our goal is for each bottle to become a reflection of a plot, an expression of its terroir.
Our winemaking philosophy is simple: preserve what the vineyard gives us and create an original wine, leaving a minimal winemaking imprint.
JULIEN LATRONCHE – FOUNDER
I grew up in the countryside of southwest France with a grandmother who owned a country restaurant. My youth was spent in nature, picking mushrooms, fishing, collecting chestnuts and building cabins. Wine was always a topic for her at family meals.
Even today, this closeness to nature continues to be an extremely important influence.
After graduating with a Business Management degree in Bordeaux. I was fortunate to visit and live in the best wine regions of France, Italy, Spain and the United States. A deep love for wine continued to develop along the way.
My interest in winemaking began about thirteen years ago when I arrived in Rolle, VD. I met the talented winemakers of the region, discovered the magnificent Swiss vineyards and developed a passion for single-varietal wines of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Chasselas.
With the support of my wife Mieke, the long-held dream of having my own winery came true, I created Parcelle168 in 2021.
