Bodegas Moraza

For six generations, we have cultivated vines and crafted our wines in the Rioja Alta region, specifically in the municipalities of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Àbalos. The long experience thus acquired has taught us a deep respect for nature.

In fact, ecology has always guided our work. We oversee the vineyard with minimal intervention, following biodynamic principles. Consequently, we make our wines exclusively with our own grapes, grown on our own vines, resulting in low yields and limited production. Built entirely of concrete in 1983 according to the winemaking principles practiced in our ancestral home, our winery has three levels, allowing for gravity-flow winemaking. This eliminates the need for pumping and excessive handling. True to our philosophy, we let the fruit express itself fully by fermenting in concrete tanks, which are ideal for the work of indigenous yeasts.
