ENTRE VINYES is a family project that was born in 2010 with the intention of recovering 3 hectares of vineyards over 80 years old, almost abandoned and sentenced to be uprooted in the Natural Park of Foix, in Baix Penedes. With that vineyard, everything that made sense to us was about to disappear: a wine-growing landscape passed down from generation to generation. But beyond the bucolic idea of a beautiful landscape, we wanted to protect some plants adapted and rooted to a land. We take care of the vineyard. Little by little the plots are recovering, with great intention and awareness. The wines were coming. First in friends' wineries and since 2017 in the chicken farm rehabilitated as a winery in the town of L'Arboç, where we, Pep and María together with our children are transforming this space, enjoying its evolution, building it day by day without pause and without fear. It is a living project that grows with us. In total today we take care of 6Ha of xarel.lo, macabeo, parellada, xarel.lo vermell and muscat vines. We work ecologically and regenerative way under a look of observation, continuous learning and respect for plants to give them what they need (if it were the case) at the precise moment. Our intention is not only to produce quality grapes but to connect with the place. We feel part of that landscape. It is our way of understanding viticulture, they are our roots and their fruits our dreams. In the winery we continue with the same philosophy, we elaborate in an intuitive, non-invasive way, different types of wines and sparkling wines. We experiment with different containers and materials, always looking for pure wines, with personality and the ability to express. Wines that speak to us about the love of a vineyard, of a landscape and that convey the passion and energy we use to do so.
