In 2003, we inherited and restored an old vineyard that had belonged to our grandfather, where, during our childhood, we had cultivated the vines and produced wine in the traditional way. Since then, and until 2006, the cultivated land has increased to reach the current 10 hectares.

The vineyards, located in Vilanova de Prades, lie between 800 and 900 meters above sea level and, due to the steep terrain, are planted on terraces constructed of black slate slabs. They are surrounded by the Serra de Prades, the Serra de la Llena, and Montsant mountains. The semi-arid, very dry climate, characterized by low rainfall and minimal temperature variations, particularly during grape ripening, protects against most of the harmful insects that affect this crop. Production is 100% organic, and the harvest is done by hand, yielding only 3,000 kilos per hectare.
