Mas de la Sabatera - Eduard Pallarés

Mas de la Sabatera is a traditional Catalan farmhouse (Masia) with over 300 years of history, located in Prenafeta, in the heart of the Conca de Barberà region. For centuries, various families and generations have made their living from the vineyards that still surround us today. We continue our profession as winegrowers and find ourselves discovering new corners within the farmhouse and learning more and more about its history. But it wasn't until 2020 that we decided to take the first step towards making our own wines, to love ourselves a little more. Through the production of minimal intervention, single-vineyard wines that speak of the environment that surrounds us, we seek to breathe new life into Mas de la Sabatera. Our philosophy in the vineyards is reflected in sustainability and respect for them; that is why all our vineyards are certified organic (CCPAE), and we do not use artificial irrigation or harmful chemicals. As for our philosophy in the winery, it consists of minimal intervention, in a winemaking process without ego, where the grape takes the lead from the very beginning. This translates into natural wines, which reflect the characteristics of our terroir and the environment where they grow.
