Vins Desantesos - Ari, Abel, Marc, Montse & Josep

The project was born from the hand of Ari, who at the age of 25 decides to make her own wines, recovering the way and philosophy of elaboration of her ancestors.

Abel, a farmer and rancher, joined the initiative, contributing his knowledge in the cultivation of the land and the behavior of livestock. Next came the addition of Marc, a mechanic by profession, and Montse, a Tourism graduate. Their vision provides form and organization in the creation of our own winery and strategies to advertise the brand and its marketing. This set has been recently completed with the incorporation of Josep ,also farmer and passionate about work in the fields.

The vineyards we work are old, most of them goblet-pruned and leased to farmers of the area. We make viticulture an activity of respect using biodynamic techniques for soil nutrition. We elaborate wines that follow the tradition of southern Catalonia, where"vins brisats" were made, and we have decided to recover this essence. The wine we make explains our territory with the maximum respect to the fruit and the land that rocks us.

We want to become an economic alternative to the current industry existing in the region with a vision of respect to the land and the environment, promoting the conservation of the landscape, the economic revitalization of the territory and the recovery of vineyards, olive groves and land in the area, that have been uncultivated due to the depopulation of the place. We offer local, handcrafted quality products. And in the meanwhile, we want to promote a sustainable and responsible tourism.
