Bodega La Serrada - Javier and Jesús Temprado

We are two brothers, with experience and winemaking tradition, third generation.

Our dream has always been to make wine from the family vineyards (8 hectares of dryland farming), but wine made without the use of pesticides or herbicides in the vines. The grapes are hand-harvested in crates, and we use minimal intervention in the winery, working without sulfites or commercial yeasts. We use manual pressing, no fining, and only a light coarse filtration to obtain and share the true flavor of the wines from this land. We make white wine (Macabeo) and rosé using the ancestral method. Our Garnacha red wines, aged 14-15%, are made in stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels. Bottling and labeling are done by hand.
