Caviste
2023 Langhe Nebbiolo, somber paarsrood van kleur. Sottobosco, paddenstoel, rozen en grafiet, met een vleugje liquirizia. Heeft in het glas even tijd nodig; dan komen de klassieke nebbiolo-aroma’s: aards, framboos, witte truffel en nog meer rozen. De aanzet is zacht en vol; in de ontwikkeling volgen fraîcheur, rijp rood fruit en een minerale kern. Verleidelijk, met fijne tannines die spanning geven zonder hard te zijn. In balans, zonder ‘nature’-ruwheid. In de afdronk truffel, kruiden en zilte mineraliteit. Beste tot nu toe?
