The Fattoria di Trecento is a small company that covers an area of about five hectares. The land is located in the highest part of the Trecento hill and along the ridge that descends towards Montalbino. The position particularly exposed to the winds and the sun gives the fruits of these fields very intense aromas. The cultivated lands are approximately 2.5 hectares of vineyards and 1.5 hectares of olive groves and 1 hectare of mixed forest. The vineyard is mainly Sangiovese and a smaller percentage of Trebbiano, Cabernet, Canaiolo, Colorino and Ciliegiolo. In the olive grove there is a great variety of cultivars that I produce in purity. We have always cultivated with respect for nature, we use only natural fertilizers and products, green manure is practiced and we favor the development of spontaneous plants. In 2018 I began to personally vinify the fruits of my vineyards in a completely natural way, i.e. without the addition of yeasts and adjuvants of any kind. I make wine almost exclusively in purity to maximize the cultivar and the vintage. The harvest is manual and the grapes arrive in the cellar in boxes.
