Cà del Vént

Cà del Vént covers 6,5 ha on top of the Campiani hill of Cellatica, a natural park sorrounded by forest and lushing nature. Our vineyards are perched on a wide crescent at the edge of, and atop, the whole of Franciacorta to the west.

It is named after the perennial wind constantly sweeping the hills, its effect allows for consistent freshness and cooler temps in these particular vineyards. Our key is a dense network of deep underground springs that brought over time different mineral substances on the surface and made the soil extremely heterogeneous even within the same vineyards. A scrupulous microzoningand mapping work has returned the oenological vocation of 11 different "cru/parcels"( mainly clay and limestone-rich soil), with great differences from the physical, chemical and biological point of view. In order to embody the distinctive character of any cru in any single grape, every vineyard is cared only manually and in a customized way. They are let to themselves and led by nature so that they could reach their balance without needing too many interventions from us. No herbicides or synthetic pesticides or any kind of additives are used in our personal idea of vitculture and wine. Sparklings are not added of liqueurs nor dosage, they are just a pure expression of the grape variety, the soil and the season. 25000 bottles made every year embodying any single vintage and a print of nature which is beautifully unpredictable every time.
