Il Farneto

The certified organic “Il Farneto” farm was born in a unique land that has remained unchanged, isolated and unspoiled over the centuries, an alternation of woods and gullies with fertile and living soils, an oasis of biodiversity, located on the Farneto plateau (300m above sea level), north-east of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

The business is geared toward quality wine production, firmly rooted in tradition, including in its agronomic management. Typical local grapes, such as Spergola, are complemented by international varieties, which we hand-pick and vinify separately to best enhance the varietal aromas of each. In the cellar, vinification and racking are performed according to the lunar calendar to create authentic, spontaneous, and lively wines that fully express the character of the grape varieties, the terroir, and the people who create them.

Here you will find the opportunity to immerse yourself in an ancient land, partly still wild, with people who preserve the charm and knowledge of the past.
