Until the 1990s, we sold grapes, must and bulk wine. After finishing my studies in 1991, I chose to dedicate myself full time to the countryside, deciding to complete the production cycle by bottling our own wine. In addition to wine, we produce oil, citrus fruits, cereals and manage a free-range breeding farm for Aspromontane goats and Nero di Calabria pigs, always following organic farming methods.
Our company is located on the Ionian coast of Reggio, in Bianco, an area with a strong winemaking tradition, famous for the Greco di Bianco DOC and the Mantonico Passito. Viticulture in this area dates back to the time of Greek colonization, as evidenced by the rock-hewn palmenti, dating back to the Hellenic era, which are found in the DOC Greco di Bianco area. Calabria is the last winemaking region in Italy, but also the largest for the variety of native vines present in the territory.
My principles as a producer are to produce naturally, with the utmost respect for the land. The company is family-run, my brother and I do most of the work with our families.
