Kulczer Winery - Laszlo Dober
Our own-grown grape varieties — Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir, Furmint, Irsai Olivér, and Kékfrankos — are vinified in our small-scale winery in Kéthely. Fermentation is spontaneous and takes place over six months in amphorae and wooden casks (Vineterre, Stockinger, Tháp, Tava), without any additives, filtration, or sulfites added until just before bottling.
All farming and winemaking practices follow Demeter standards and EU organic regulations. The wines are bottled in lightweight bottles, sealed with cork.
Our 3-hectare vineyard is located in Kéthely, in the Balatonboglár wine region of South Lake Balaton. We use compost tea and natural plant-based treatments like nettle and horsetail tea to care for the vines.
